Bat Noise here, we’re an experimental goth industrial with haunted improv duo, we are very live, theatrical, and exciting, live theremin, sax, trombone, live floor tom and percussion, live played synth sequences, there are a few samples but even those are live manipulated, we don’t have backing tracks, no laptop and singing along, we are very into a live experience with urgency as ceremony, we wear homemade monster masks and give our all to our performance and musicianship. We both sing, switching off lead vocals, and there are some instrumental songs that are spooky and strange soundtracks. We’ve been playing together for more than twenty years, started as The Floating Corpses in San Francisco, moved to Oakland and became Moira Scar, as Moira Scar we’ve toured the US including Texas multiple times, and as V.E.X. we’ve toured Europe and Mexico. Bat Noise is us at our most freaky elemental and sonic essential. Moira Scar started as a duo and Bat Noise is a continuation of us staying true to the core of our music and performance, and we are happy to be billed as Bat Noise/Moira Scar or some combo that ties our better known band name together, as we are both bands. We have multiple Moira Scar and V.E.X. albums out on bandcamp, and will be releasing a Bat Noise album next week.
